A gently structured practice that becomes increasingly tuned into your work.Â
How this is designed
The Fresh Eyes practice is designed to support what you’re working on right now.
It reduces overwhelm, sharpens decision-making in the studio, and clarifies what matters most to you and your work.Â
Whether you’re an emerging, mid-career, or established artist, this kind of clarity is essential.
Fresh Eyes Community
Alongside the daily writing practice, you’ll be invited into a private community space with other artists in the program.
This is a place to connect outside of the Zoom sessions, share your insights, share your work and have discussions.
The Fresh Eyes community is made up of artists who are serious about their work. It is a thoughtful and generous space for learning alongside others who are equally invested in their practice.
“Fresh Eyes helped me slow down my thinking. For the first time, I could write freely without worrying about being read.”
 — Elnaz
“The questions caused me to look at my world and art-making afresh. I’ve since completed the most ambitious artworks I’ve ever attempted on my own.”
 — Jess
“The questions were a fresh way to dive deeper and explore new approaches to my work.”
— Sarah Saridis
Â
“Fresh Eyes provided the structure and discipline to make writing a regular practice. I looked forward to each new prompt.”
— Elizabeth Haigh
Â
Fresh Eyes is for artists and makers who want clarity, and who are willing to write regularly - even if writing doesn’t come naturally.
Â
This isn’t a quick hack.
Â
It’s an easeful, daily practice that fits into your life and helps you reach greater depth in your work.
Â
Still have some questions?
What if I can’t attend every day?
I’m busy. Is this going to help with what I’m doing now?
Will this help me show my work publicly or pursue opportunities?
I’ve done Fresh Eyes before. Is it worth repeating?
Do I need to be a writer or have writing experience?
Is this right for me if I’m feeling stuck or unsure about my work?
Will I have to share my writing?
Is this for beginners or experienced artists?

“I’m always blown away by the gems of ideas that really hit me as gut language.”
“It’s now integral to my practice — for clarity, research, artist statements… the whole lot.”
