Artists in EVOLVE are not just thinking about next steps, they are making the work, refining it, writing about it, applying for opportunities, making introductions, and following things through.

While many valuable programs are led by non-artists, like arts administrators, curators, academics, or marketing and business strategists, I understand artists' specific challenges - the doubts, sensitivities, and the deeply personal nature of making work. Iām on the same path as you.Ā
Evolve is informed by lived experience as a maker. I have written and secured grants and residencies, developed multiple bodies of work for exhibition, worked with galleries, and had my work recognised in awards and collected by state institutions. This isnāt abstract advice; it is grounded in experience.

What level of commitment is required for EVOLVE?
EVOLVE runs for six months and includes weekly group sessions, monthly one-on-one mentoring, worksheets, set tasks, and the odd challenge. These are designed to fit in with your arts practice and be immediately applied. The artists who show up consistently (not perfectly) and are willing to grow get the most out of the program.
